After researching & reviewing many vacuums, I decided on the Bissell 21K3. I'm a cat owner & needed something powerful enough to pick up pet hair but without the ridiculous expense. The Bissell was a very good price & was highly rated. Upon receiving my vacuum, I immediately put it together, (took me 5mins) & then I tried it out. I was a bit nervous after reading a couple of reviews where people stated they received a strong, static shock while vacuuming. I have yet to experience this & have vacuumed numerous times. I love this vacuum! It picks up every bit of pet hair & the upholstery attatchment is great! This vaccum works very well on bare floors as well! I use it in my kitchen & bathroom. Canister disposal is very easy! It is not self-propelled & can be a bit tough to push at times but other than that, I highly recommend it!

This is the ultimate bagless vacuum cleaner! The suction is like no other and the container is simple to empty. I have told so many people about this vacuum that I started to feel like I was doing a commercial. The first time I used it, I was both ecstatic and sad. I was ecstatic because it sucked up an amazing amount of filth and I was sad because I had been sharing my house with the filth for so long. The only thing that would make this vacuum better would be a longer hose. Overall though this vacuum is WORTH every cent!

I've only used the vacuum twice and cleaned out the container once. Moves well and has good suction. You should be careful to set the height so the tough bristles don't damage thick carpet or wood flooring.
