After reading numerous reviews of vacuums I purchased the Bissell 16N5 Healthy Home vacuum from Target. At first, after reading the reviews, I was concerned that it would be heavy and cumbersome, but I found once I brought it home that while it is not the lightest vacuum out there, it was no heavier than the Hoover Windtunnel I already had. So, I was pleasantly surprised that I wouldn't have to adjust to a heavier vacuum. The weight doesn't bother me. I've had the Bissell for a couple of weeks now & am very pleased. It works great, is easy to manuever and has great features! Great quality tools & I tried out the long hose right away. I left the vacuum at the bottom of my 13 stairs and using only the hose & power brush went to the top of the stairs. I couldn't believe it reached all the way up there & didn't even threaten to tip the vacuum over...this is a huge plus for me. Emptying the dirt cup is a little messy, but not enough to bother me. Seeing all the dirt & dog hair it picks up motivates me to vacuum more! Some of the other reviews have mentioned problems with the brush roll. I have not had mine very long so I hope this won't be the case with mine. So far it has been an excellent choice!

I vacuumed my floors 4 days prior to getting this vacuum. Once I got this vacuum and after putting it together (very simple) I re vacuumed the house and was amazed at what it still picked up. This vacuum is worth every penny I am very happy with it. Oh and the delivery was incredible only took 4 days to get to me. Lightning fast delivery with an outstanding vacuum.
